Process: It made the whole process a lot easier that I had already-made content, so I just had to think about good ways to display it. I used a half-circle and square as the main part of my design, varying the border, fill, and text colors depending on the slide. Then I added a beginning and ending slide to introduce and conclude the slides. I tried to make it unique and cohesive, but also to have it visually interesting and effective.
Critique: I critiqued Michele Vroom and Aaron Rose’s projects. I was critiqued by Sister Foulk, Marinda Taylor, and Katie Odom, who suggested that I move some of the text down and deepen some of the colors. I tried to follow most of the advice given, but some of it I had to leave. It all helped my project become a lot better!

Hey Jared, you did a fantastic job on your portfolio. I like your design element at the bottom that you have the subtitle in. It’s really good too that it’s in the same place in every slide, and that you have the color match something from each of your projects. All of the colors you chose works well together. I’m sure a prospective employer would be very impressed with this, as am I. Great job!

Jared Richardson,
The font and color schemes you used on each slide are great! It reminds me in some way of crayola, but also supports the separate projects in your portfolio. Each project follows the rules of design very well. I could easily see these as being professional pieces. Here is the my final portfolio and the final portfolio of Katie Odom:

Pulling the colors used in your designs to match your slide designs was a good choice. I really pulled each piece together. I really liked your photography study. Why else do we have siblings? Haha!

This is awesome!! Great job Jared. I like the colors and the font. I also like how a lot of your projects had the same theme (Circle J Games) and your portfolio matched that really well. I also like how your design element changed colors to match the designs!

Very nicely done. I like that you added some borders around the projects to break up the blue. That made it easier to read. I would be afraid to play games with you. I think I would get beat every time. (I really dislike losing)

Thanks! I do really like playing games, but for the most part I don’t think you’d be in too much danger of loosing; it’s much easier to draw or write about a game than to actually WIN at it. 🙂

Hi Jared, your portfolio is really cool, I like the combination of blue and orange you did here. The shapes you used are effective and nice as well. My favorite designs of yours are the movie poster and the social media marketing, I loved how you combined the graphic elements there. Good job!

Hey, nice job! I like your last slide, it follows the same element of the first page really well. Isn’t it cool to look through all of our work like this and see how far we have come. I was impressed with your movie poster too, I hope Sister Foulk agreed XD. Anyway, I hope you have a good rest of the year!
